This year's summer school, entitled "Reconstituer une bibliothèque médiévale aujourd'hui : l'exemple de Chartres", will be held at the Médiathèque de Chartres, "l'Apostrophe", from 27th to 31st August 2013.

Programme

The five-day course will focus on the history of medieval libraries, texts and their diffusion, early inventories and catalogues, the reconstruction of early collections, and a virtual library from the Chartres region: the Heptateuchon of Thierry de Chartres. Participants will also have the opportunity to present a poster about their research and a visit to the Church of Saint-Père is planned for Saturday, 31st August.
